Home > Services > Pachinko Machine Restoration
One of the biggest problems with these old pachinko machines is that the inside ball tracks get clogged with dirt and the metal parts get rusty and corroded, making the pachinko machines unplayable.
Our restoration process involves completely taking apart and cleaing your machine before we repair and rebuild it. However if your machine isn't very dirty but doesn't work, we also have a pachinko machine Repair Service for an hourly rate.
Our Restoration Process
- We disassemble the pachinko machine.
- Plastic parts are cleaned.
- Large metal parts are cleaned by hand.
- Small metal parts are cleaned in a polishing machine.
- Staples are replaced with screws.
- Old screws are replaced with new ones.
- The outer cabinet and playfield are cleaned.
- Our 2 hour Pachinko Instruction Manual DVD is included.

Cost for Restoration Service
The base charge for restoration is $500. After we receive and evaluate your machine, the cost could go up if there is damage or missing parts. In addition to this base price, please add the cost for any optional items below.
Unless you are dropping your machine off with us in person, you will need to pay to have the machine shipped to us and a flat rate of $75 to have it packaged, insured and shipped back to you.
A minimum down payment of $100 is required for us to begin work. When we complete your machine we will send you an invoice. Final payment is required within 60 days of invoice. Contact us if you would like to work out a payment plan for the balance.
Down Payment $100.
Optional Items
Glass or Plexiglas
Would you like us to install new Plexiglas for $20? We personally prefer real glass as it is easier to clean and makes a nice clinking sound as the balls bounce off it. However the danger is that if the machine gets knocked over, the glass could break. Or if there are kids around who might throw toys it might be better to go with Plexiglas. We don't ship machines with real glass so it is only an option if you are picking up your machine in person. Real glass can be purchased at some hardware stores.
Lights
Would you like the lights hooked up? Your machine has places for 1 or more light bulbs that will flash for a brief second when you get a jackpot. If you would like the lights hooked up, we use all new parts and we can wire to run off a 9V battery for $45 or a transformer you plug into the wall for $55. The batteries are convienent and generally last a long time. The transformer requires an extension cord to be plugged into a wall outlet. We generally recommend a battery for simplicity but the choice is really just a personal preference. We can also wire your machine so you can use either a battery or transformer for $65.
Pachinko Balls
Do you need balls for your machine? We recommend 500 to 1,000 balls. The more you buy, the less often you will need to refill your machine. We sell them in batches of 250 so just let us know how many.
Frame Painting
Do you want the outside frame painted brown? Often the outside wood frame is dirty, dinged up and written on. We can paint over this with a dark brown as pictured below for $10. If you plan to mount your pachinko machine in a cabinet, you won't need the frame painted.
Support Legs
You will need some way for your machine to be stabilized so it doesn't fall over. We can attach 2 boards to the bottom that are sanded smooth for $15 with ball bucket support board. You can see an example in the above picture where the frame is painted brown. If you are planning on building or buying a cabinet for your pachinko machine you won't need the boards.
How to Ship Your Pachinko Machine
Please don't ship the machine with real glass.
Make sure there is plenty of packing material, (peanuts, bubble wrap, etc.) to fill all the space in the box to prevent movement and possible damage. We also screw a couple boards to the top and bottom of the machine so it is centered in the box and prevents movement.
Mark your box, "Fragile" and "This Side Up" on all sides with the machine standing up. Otherwise if it is laying down, other boxes can be stacked on top and can crush the front and back trays, even without damaging the box.
We use boxes that are 12x24x36. You may be able to use a flat screen TV box. Shipping is usually calculated based on weight AND box size so keep your size close to the above dimensions to minimize your cost.
We use Federal Express Ground but you can ship to us with any service. If you have a place such as the UPS Store package or ship it for you, the rates may be higher.

How Long it Takes to Restore a Pachinko Machine
It takes about 40 hours but that is spread over a couple of weeks. It also depends on how many customers have already sent us machines.
We restore and repair machines in order that we receive them. When we receive your machine, we will evaluate it for any problems, and send you an estimate of how long should take to restore your machine.
If you have other questions, please contact us.
