Pachinko Repair Service

As of May 1st we will not be taking NEW orders for repairs or restorations for an undetermined period of time. We do sell restoration manuals to do repairs yourself.

We have repaired and restored hundreds of vintage pachinko machines. One of the biggest problems with vintage pachinko machines is dirt, dust, oil, rust, etc. can interfere with the normal operation of the over 100 moving plastic and metal parts. Our repair service involves performing any needed repairs so your machine is playable (see caution below).

Our Repair Service

  • Email pictures to thepachinkoman@yahoo.com so we can see if there are any potential issues.
  • After we look at the pictures and give the OK, send us your machine. packaging tips
  • Once we receive and evaluate your machine, we will send you an estimate. Evaluation fee is $25.
  • We will perform necessary repairs at $50 per hour plus parts.

Lights (optional)

One or more lights will flash when you get a jackpot and another light will come on and stay on to let you know your supply tray in back needs to be refilled. We use all new parts and you can choose between a 9V battery and a wall plug transformer as your power source, or both. Most people choose the 9V battery option. Cost is $60 for either the battery or transformer and $75 for both.

Glass or Plexiglas (optional)

We prefer glass as it is easier to clean and makes a nice clinking sound as the balls bounce off it. However, if the machine gets knocked over, the glass could break. We don't ship machines with glass, so that option is only available if you are picking up your machine. Glass can be purchased at your local hardware store. Most people choose plexiglas. Cost $20 for glass of plexiglas.

Pachinko Balls (optional)

We recommend 500 to 1,000 balls. The more you have, the less often you will need to refill your machine. Most people choose 500 pachinko balls. See our pachinko ball page for quantities and prices.

Cabinet or Support Boards (optional)

Pachinko machines need to be stabilized so they don't fall over. We sell cabinets and support boards. Most people choose the 2 support boards with bucket board. See our cabinet page and stands page for pictures and prices.
